About the Conference

The Idaho Partnerships Conference on Human Services is a large regional conference in the Northwest focusing on providing quality disability and mental health training to human service professionals, teachers, counselors, parents, self advocates and community members who serve and support people with disabilities and mental illness. We bring together over 700 attendees each year.

Keynote Speaker

Kyle Cease

Kyle Cease is a keynote speaker, transforming audiences through his unique blend of comedy and transformation.

Prior to being a transformative speaker, Kyle was a headlining comedian for 25 years with two number one Comedy Central specials. In 2009, he earned a #1 ranking on the network’s Standup Showdown.

He has appeared in over 100 different TV and movie appearances, including 10 Things I Hate About You, Not Another Teen Movie, Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately, Martin Short Show, Comics Unleashed, and numerous VH1 Shows. He will soon be in print as well with Simon & Schuster Published May 2, 2017.

Keynote Speaker

Peter Leidy

Peter Leidy has been learning from people with disabilities since 1983. Peter is a consultant, facilitator, listener, learner, improviser, and speaker who focuses on personalized supports and community membership for people with disabilities. He also writes and sings songs about human serviceland and those who find themselves connected to it.

This year’s conference will focus on bringing the most innovative, cutting edge techniques and information in the disability services field to our attendees. Speaker presentations will offer new ideas, insights and strategies to inspire and challenge our audience. Our sessions are designed to empower attendees to put into practice what they learn, interact with each other and find inspiration. The conference provides an exciting forum for the exchange of practical knowledge and new strategies.
